This color is made up of 4 parts Snow White milk paint, 1/2 part Patina Green milk paint, and 1/4 part sunglow milk...

They comment, "This was a special request for [my client's] daughter. They wanted [this] French Provincial in pure white with touches of gold. Of course I could create that for them... This style will grow with her and last her years. I used General Finishes Snow White Milk Paint."
This fabulous custom order, dubbed "Queen Elizabeth," was completed by Reinvintaged by Bo with custom color paint mixes. To create the mixes, Reinvintaged used GF Milk Paint colors such as Emerald, Snow White, Antique White, Sunglow and Holiday Red.
"She was stripped down of all her chipping veneer and given some new molding and accent pieces and then painted in General Finishes Snow White which is a bright clean white.
The legs were completely stripped and then re-stained.

The painted the base with a custom color of 1 part Coastal Blue Milk Paint to 4 parts Halcyon Blue Milk Paint and top-coated with a mix 1 part Halcyon Blue Milk Paint to 1 part Snow White Milk Paint. The piece was finished with a crackling product and lime wash glaze with gesso.

My journey for my inspiration began with a newspaper article I read about Louis XVI King of France, but more interestingly his wife Marie Antionette the Queen of exquisite taste. She amassed artworks of extraordinary opulence and beauty. Particularly her furniture collection, the extravagant life of Queen Marie is surrounded by elegant French furniture and fabrics, very beautiful designs that are still prevalent today.
So I dedicate my entry piece to one of the most trend setting...

This old bookshelf got a modern farmhouse face lift! I painted the outside and the shelves with 2 coats of General Finishes Driftwood, took of the backside of the original shelf and replaced with old reclaimed wood siding. The wood siding was dry brushed with General Finishes Snow White and the grey area of the bookshelf was sealed with 2 coats of General Finishes High Performance Top Coat in Flat.
