About This Post
"Top coat is so important!! It of course protects your piece from wear and tear but for stained wood it really makes it shine! My go-to topcoat is High Performance by General Finishes. It's water based so make sure your oil based stain is completely dry! Comes in many different sheens from flat to gloss. (One coat of gloss shown here). Sand lightly between coats for that super smooth finish." - Indigo Lane Furniture
