About This Post
Restyle Junkie says, "Our customer, Heidi, recently purchased General Finishes Gel Stain in Antique Walnut. Look how she transformed her fiberglass front door! Incredible update! Heidi said that she used the "sock" method and went with the grain of the door when applying the Gel Stain and Top Coat. Didn't she do an amazing job?"
Always seal the outside of Gel Stained doors with top coat made for the outdoors. We recommend using GF's water based Exterior 450 Top Coat. When using Exterior 450 over Gel Stain, let the Gel Stain dry a minimum of 72 hours first. When using top coat made from a different brand, always test first!
