The BlastRite sets Such a fresh logo. These boards took 3 sets of full sized stencils and a roll of frog tape to get the look we were after, 3 re-masks is not for the faint of heart. But the reveal was so satisfying. Thanks to bbrothersbags for the bags. You always come through and I’m very grateful for you. I really wish you could hear all the compliments I get from your bags. CU Woodshop Supply & School of Woodworking shared this project from their customer Hillary S.   "Hillary is new to the area and wanted to make a new table for her new home. "I was able to snag part of an old bar from a historic tavern in our town that was relocating. This piece was old, dirty, and layered with gunk when I brought it home. We cleaned it up and prepped it and I went to work restoring the wood.

We used several layering techniques with different stains and added 4" metal wheels and a custom built chevron planked top for an overall industrial look. This piece came out gorgeous!" - Rebecca

"This beautiful coastal dining set was originally just an ordinary table and chairs.  You know the type...orangey in color, out of style, ugly.  The top of the table was removed and I cut down different widths of wood planks to fit.  They were then sanded... and sanded some more.  Next I stained using a combination of General Finishes stains.  This combo is top secret, but I will reveal that Java, Brown Mahogany and Gray were used.  This gives the wood an old, weathered look.  I then dry...

"The color on the body of the dresser is Midnight Blue Chalk Style. It is a very deep, deep blue, almost black; A very rich and sophisticated color which I think works nicely on modern furniture or traditional. I applied two coats of this color. The paint is self leveling so you can’t see brush marks. To seal I applied three coats of Gray Gel Stain A little of this goes a LONG way. I still am on my first can. I like how easy it is to apply. When applying it looks white but when dry it...

Awesome weathered gray look with GF Gray Gel Stain from Canary Street Crafts!   "We really wanted the top to look like weathered driftwood, and I kind of wanted the whole piece to look like it could have washed up on a beach somewhere. First, I used a spray bottle to dampen the entire top with water. Next, I put a latex glove on my hand, then a sock over top of the glove. I dipped the sock in the stain, then wiped in onto the damp wood surface. I worked in sections, making sure to go from...

AlchemyHome shows off how GF Gray Gel Stain and Winter White Glaze Effects can give you a beautiful weathered look!
Donna Ginther transformed her golden oak cabinets by painting 3 coats of General Finishes Gray Gel Stain over her existing finish. What a gorgeous end result! The color of GF's Gray Gel Stain is so light that it can only be successfully applied over raw wood with the wipe-away application method. If you prefer the painted look, we recommend using Milk Paint instead of Gel Stain. Still, Gel Stain is an excellent finish when painted on and we are thrilled to see the success of this project!
