She explains, "Just finished this beautiful chest with old marble top with a combination of General Finishes Emerald and Lime Green Milk Paint. Then applied General Finishes Antique Walnut Gel Stain. The final touch was GF Flat Out Flat topcoat. Fun piece to do and I love the results!"

"Formerly boring brown, chipped and water-ringed, this petite beauty has been painted in General Finishes Chalk Style Paint in Bayberry Green and stenciled with Snow White Milk Paint. The 3-sided floral indian inlay pattern can be admired from anywhere in the room. The top was stripped and sanded and given a hemp oil treatment which nourishes the wood from the inside out. "I mixed General Finishes Coastal Blue with Emerald Green, and while I was going for a dark teal, it came out more like a Hunter Green. Which was still so pretty and really compliments the wood tones. I watered down the paint about 50/50, and brushed it on just like I was painting, but a thinner coat. Once dry, I sanded heavily with 80 or 120 grit paper. It left it looking pretty scratchy, so everything got a coat of High Performance Poly in flat finish. It gives it a really pretty shine, and...
