Spiced Walnut Wooden Chairs

"I picked up a bunch of these chairs from an old church in Denver. They are original to the church which was built in 1920's. I sanded this set, used 50/50 Shellac/D-Natured Alcohol conditioner. I then stained them in General Finishes 'Spiced Walnut'(liquid oil based stain). I did two coats and waited 24 hrs between coats. Some areas wouldn't take the stain so I dry brushed some GF gel stain in Java in those areas. It magically blended it all together.
