Love how this came out!. Customer wanted a restoration hardware, old world look for this Jacobean style table. I applied two under coats of GF Antique White and then did a wash in GF Dark Chocolate. I applied four coats of GF HP top coat. - Rhonda of Repurposed Love
The color is a custom blend using General Finishes Antique White, Millstone, and a little ASCP in Coco. After painting and distressing I sealed with General Finishes top coat, then added a little dark wax and aging dust around the carvings. The top is stained in a walnut stain. This is a very beautiful statement piece with subtle colors. Thanks for sharing Buttercup's Painted Cottage Looks fantastic!
The Shabby Chicas located at Homestead Handcrafts made over this dresser with General Finishes Millstone, Linen and Antique White Milk Paint and topped it off with GF High Performance Top Coat in satin.
Old doors become a piece of art with a little bit of paint and creativity. We painted the outer edges with our General Finishes Dark Chocolate and Antique White Milk Paint with the Van Dyke Brown Glaze and, of course, chalkboard paint in the middle. We then used ChalkInk chalk markers for our custom chalk art. Such a quick and fun DIY project! - Sondra of Reblessed, LLC
Stephanie at Rehab to Fab shared this absolutely stunning chest restyle! "This oak cedar chest is exquisite, elegant, and just over all gorgeous! It was a honey oak before & if you haven't heard...honey oak is so not cool anymore! So to bring this piece up to date I sanded the top, used wood conditioner (always do!) and did 2 coats of General Finishes Gel Stain in Java. Sealed with GF's Arm-R-Seal. The body is a mix of General Finishes Milk Paint colors: Linen, Millstone and a splash of...

This charming chair makeover by ReLove couldn't be any prettier! Love it! "My customer and I were both thrilled with the transformation of these classic Windsor chairs... I used General Finishes Milk Paint in Dark Chocolate. The rich brown was the perfect choice for these chairs! I used High Performance Top Coat in Satin for a slight sheen! We both agreed they look factory finished! The hardest part of this custom job was giving my client the chairs back! I wanted to keep them!" Wondering how...
"After some waiting, scraping, sanding and cleaning I finished the top with General Finishes Gel Stain in Java. I've had great results using this stain every single time. And that is totally saying a lot because, for as much furniture as I paint, staining always makes me super nervous. ...So, for the remainder of the table I painted it with General Finishes Milk Paint in Millstone. This is the first time I have used this particular shade and it is a nice, tan-based neutral a couple of shades...
