"Antique theater chairs I purchased from a church in Denver. I purchased a few sets and slowly refinishing and painting them. I embraced the imperfections! Here's a set of 3 I did today. General Finishes Black Pepper Chalk Style Paint & Arm-R-Seal oil-based topcoat. The seats & backs were sanded. 50/50 pre-stain & Polyvine Walnut Stain & Seal. Dead flat wax finish was used to seal the seats & backs." - Stephanie of Rehab to Fab
"Once again your products amaze me. I have been loving your Chalk Style Paints but really wanted to do a deep navy piece. "This week, I was lucky enough to try General Finishes new chalk paint line. I mixed half part Black Pepper to half part Empire Gray and created a gorgeous deep gray/almost black hue. While drying, I dabbed the black onto my brush to basically streaked it over the deep gray. I only lightly brushed over the detailed sides to highlight the design and then used 220 grit sandpaper to distress it. The whole piece was easily sealed in General Finishes Flat Out Flat topcoat. I used a simple sponge...
