Antique White Midcentury Makeover

About This Post

We're so impressed by this stunning midcentury makeover by Trillium Park Designs! Details below. :) "It's always fun to rehab dated furniture, but it's especially rewarding when the piece starts out sad and worn and finds it's way to a shiny end. This little Goodwill chest had a nasty cigarette burn on the top and the drawer fronts were adorned with random patches of glitter glue. But other than these minor flaws, it was in good, solid shape. General Finishes Antique White Milk Paint was used for the frame and Antique Walnut and Java Gel Stain was used to achieve the two-toned "striped" drawer fronts. This traditional combo of paint and stain continues to be my MCM favorite! She's now ready to do service in the home office holding up the printer in style!"
