I used about 10 thin coats of Arm-R-Seal in Satin. I am super proud of the way it turned out, and the easy use of the products. "

"This beautifully layered buffet was accomplished by using only General Finishes products. I created the base coat by mixing the farmhouse green color that consists of GF Milk Paint in Basil, Dark Chocolate, Emerald, and Linen. I then dry brushed on some Buttermilk Yellow. The last coat of paint was a 50/50 mixture of the farmouse green and Antique White. I used the vaseline method of distressing to achieve the chippy look and many...

GF Antique White on the outside and custom mix of Driftwood and Seagull Gray on inside.  Sealed with High Performance Topcoat.

Bob Bordelon stunned us with this lovely staining project! He mixed Black Walnut and Coffee Bean Exterior 450 water-based Wood Stains to create this rich, dark color. He sealed them with Exterior 450 in Semi-Gloss as well.

"I went with a 50:50 mix of General Finishes Snow White and Antique White Milk Paint. I first started with two coats of their new Stain Blocker (which I absolutely love, by the way). It sands nicely and covers beautifully. The sides and drawers only needed 4 coats of the custom mix. That may sound like a lot, but I sand in between each coat which does remove some of the paint. I like for my finishes to be silky smooth and have found sanding is the key to that process. The top, on the other...

"The second buffet is on its way home. Everyone is happy. It was a good busy day! Back to painting! This custom mixed color is in high demand!" - Katie & Co. Furniture Restorations

"Once again your products amaze me. I have been loving your Chalk Style Paints but really wanted to do a deep navy piece. After seeing one with the color I loved, of course the products used were yours, but they were Milk Paints. Now I had not used your Milk Paints yet and really shied away from them for reasons I really don't know. After being told what two colors to mix I went to my local retailer and got input from her. After finding out I could mix Chalk Style and Milk Paints, I bought some...

"Here is another piece redone with your awesome products! This is a European-style TV cabinet that was left out for the trash. Can you believe it? ...The outside is painted in a custom mix of Halycon Blue and Seagull Gray Milk Paint.... The body is waxed and the top sealed with High Performance Topcoat Satin, then waxed over that. Now it's a bar!" - Rebecca of Best Designs by Rebecca

"Love your stains. Recently did a dresser in an Annie Sloan mix but the top is the show stopper. I created a faux burl effect with a couple of your stains. It worked out fabulously. I used the water-based Orange Dye Stain first, then proceeded to use Candlelite and Java Gel Stains to aid in the burl effect!" - Tammy Sue of The Uppity

To achieve the teal-blue that has been created for the base, GF would recommend mixing Coastal Blue and Patina Green Milk Paint.

Kirsten McKee of That Flippin Furniture Girl restyled this dresser with a sharp, custom color!

"The stain is a custom blend of Antique Walnut and Georgian Cherry Gel Stain - 5:1 ratio," Kirsten explains. The top was also sanded to remove the old finish and stained as well. My client was thrilled with the results!"...

I enhanced it all with Van Dyke Glaze and 3 coats of HPTC in flat! Perfect! Everyone who saw it loved it so I carried that look onto these 3 tables for another client.
